James, or Jim, is Maxine's Dad. He was the reason Maxine got into basketball, going as far as to coach years and years of Boca Hoops. He accepted Josh into the family with warm and welcoming arms. Treating him with respect and recognizing how wonderful Josh has been in everyone's life.
John Dufour
Father of the Groom
Josh’s dad has been his and the neighborhoods go-to handy man. From “volunteering" Josh for endless home projects to duct-taping an exploding sump pump pipe in a crisis, their time together was always hands-on and unforgettable. Every project came with a lesson and a laugh. Nowadays they spend time together golfing, chatting, and still doing the occasional project.

Maid of Honor
Maxine's older sister, Josie, is 3 years older. Maxine and Josie love singing along to the Dreamgirls soundtrack, playing Stardew Valley, and watching reality TV. With the passage of time, Maxine and Josie have grown more similar. Everything from hobbies to random opinions on celebrities in common. Josie will be Maxine's Maid of Honor. As a former bride herself, Josie will be the go to for all things wedding!
Evan Dufour
Best Man
Josh's brother, Evan, has been an important part of Josh & Maxine's journey from the start. Josh met Maxine while he was living with his family, and their early hangouts often involved Evan, Portillo's, and a trip to Dave and Busters. Evan, Josh, and Maxine still find time to conquer their old stomping grounds in Tampa and Brandon every now and then.
Abigail Stankiewicz

Maxine and Abbie bonded freshman year of college in 2015 at the University of South Florida. We were both picky eaters, and became habitual grilled cheese, French fries, and sprite eaters at the dining halls. Over time, they became inseparable, living together for 5 years and continuing a lasting friendship to this day.

Richard is one of the easiest people to talk to. Whether it was a deep conversation or debating sports, he’s someone who always makes you feel welcomed. Josh’s favorite memories are playing sports with him in his front yard and just hanging out in his basement. Josh is truly grateful for his loyalty and support over the years and is proud to have him by his side on this day.

Briana is Maxine's cousin and best friend since Day 1. With only a 10 day age difference between Maxine and Briana, they have spent their whole lives seeing each other through each stage. From our first birthday's to our weddings, they were by each other's side through it all.

Evan is the kind of friend who’s always ready to hang out anytime, anywhere. He’s easygoing, dependable, and somehow always had a trunk full of board games ready for action. That mix of spontaneity and loyalty is what’s made him such a great friend to Josh over the years, and it’s no surprise he’s standing by his side today.
Sara Brownstein

Sara is Maxine's oldest cousin. During a brief period of time when both Maxine and Sara spent time in Gainesville, they grew particularly close, bonding over a goal of making 1,000 paper cranes. They may not have made 1,000 (although Sara did make a good dent), they ended up with matching paper crane tattoos and a bond that is everlasting.

From meeting for the first time in person at a trampoline park, things have been wildly unpredictable, in the best way. Since then, their friendship has included late-night drives to nowhere, questionable kitchen experiments, and one memorable moment where he literally ran Josh over with a go-kart. Whether causing chaos or doing nothing, he always brought the laughs.

Don't tell Josh Dufour, but Josh Hartigan is actually Maxine's first real love. They were best friends since birth and were always told they would fall in love one day. They even had a pretend wedding when they were about three years old. Josh Hartigan and Maxine may not have been romantically each other's soul mates, but they were soul mates in other ways. Josh Hartigan stands by Maxine's side today as her loyal partner in crime.

Max brings a calm, steady, and funny energy to any room and now officially to the family. As Josie’s husband, he’s become a brother-in-law to Josh and someone he’s genuinely glad to know. Whether it’s just talking about life, sharing a laugh, or whatever might occur, Max fits right in. Josh is proud to have him standing with him today.
