We’re getting married!

Vero Beach has become one of our favorite cities to visit for a weekend getaway. When Max suggested going to Vero for my birthday in August, I immediately said yes! When we got to Vero, Max told me he made reservations for dinner Saturday night at a hotel on the beach. Before dinner, we went to Vero Beach Hotel (my favorite place in Vero) for drinks. Max was EXTREMELY quiet the entire time. After a very quiet hour or so, he suggested we walk on the beach to dinner. I notice Max walking behind me and he keeps looking over his shoulder - no idea why. A few minutes later, he drops to one knee and says something. I still cannot remember everything he said because I was so surprised/shocked/overwhelmed. I kept repeating 'Are you Serious?!' and then I saw the ring and knew this was real and said YES! It was truly one of the best moments of my life and I can't wait to marry Max!
