HOTEL RECOMMENDATIONS?

Answer

Yes! The Crown Plaza Downtown is our #1 recommendation due to it being connected to our reception. There are plenty of hotels in the Indianapolis downtown area. HOWEVER, Indianapolis will be hosting the olympic swimming trials the same weekend, so many downtown hotels will be booked and more expensive. As an alternative, there are a few hotels right outside the airport including a Marriott and Hyatt. This would be about 20 minutes from the ceremony and 15 minutes from the reception. There is also a Courtyard Marriott in Speedway (Indianapolis) that is 12 minutes from the ceremony and 20 minutes to the reception. Airbnbs are always an option as well. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions regarding where to stay or just to check in about a specific area! We are more than happy to help.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is cocktail attire! A dress of any length and a suit are recommended.

Are there any unique/fun hotels in Indianapolis?

Answer

The most unique hotel (in my opinion) is the Bottleworks hotel in downtown Indianapolis! It was built out of the old Coca-Cola factory. Across the street, they remodeled the buildings into an amazing food hall and duck pin bowling! Another amazing hotel is the JW Marriott downtown. It has beautiful views of the city and is located right next to the baseball field!
