We met at our mutual friend Joseph's birthday party. There were drinks, music and fun happening all around. As many of you know (or don't know), at these birthday parties there is a very special drink we all must partake in, Slurricane. This "delicious" beverage is what got us talking to each other. We continued talking on our way to get cigarettes about our mutual love for cats. We were pretty much inseparable that entire evening and have been ever since. And as the saying goes, The rest is history.....
It was a warm Tuesday evening in April, as we were headed to our favorite wing place for dinner, Sean mentioned that there was a package for me when we got home from wings but wasn't sure it was going to fit. Immediately I knew what it was (I had been sending him ring ideas for the past 2 weeks) but how dare he make me sit through a whole dinner to wait for it! We finally got home, I was like a kid on Christmas, filled with excitement! He brings out the box and hands it over to me to see what I thought of the ring. I told him "NO! that is not how you propose! You need to be down on one knee, there needs to be romantic music!" So he got down on one knee, asked our Google home to play romantic music (for which Google has jokes and played Versace on the Floor by Bruno Mars, but hey, it worked!) and he asked me to marry him. And of course I said YES!
