On a Friday night in June, Bailey was finishing up her waitressing shift at the Courtyard when she realized her Mom and Mom’s friend were at the outside bar, so she ended up staying after her shift to hang out with them. A Bachelor party showed up and took Fireball shots with Bailey’s Mom and Mom’s friend. As this was unfolding, Bailey looked to her right to find a guy at the bar chuckling at the whole scene. Bailey said to him, “I’m glad you think it’s funny because I have to drive them home tonight!” That guy ended up being Max, and after talking for a while Bailey and Max exchanged numbers. We ended up going on our first date 3 days later! Our first date was at Anejo, which is Bailey’s favorite restaurant! We instantly had a connection and continued to go on dates all summer. While Bailey thought this was just a summer fling, Max knew he wanted to make things official on July 18, 2021. On April 25, 2025 we went to the Pelham House for lunch and then Max proposed on the beach. We stopped at Anejo on our way home before going to our surprise engagement party at the Pilot House Max had planned! We are overjoyed to be getting married and having all of you with us on our special day!
