Yifei, a woman from China studying in the United States on a student visa, and Max, a man born in Pennsylvania, had only a microscopic chance of ever meeting. However, as fate would have it, they both happened to move to Colorado at the same time — and matched on Bumble. From the very beginning, it was obvious that they had found something special. With a single swipe of a finger, Yifei and Max began the journey that would lead them to spending eternity together. After spending eight wonderful months together in Colorado, another pleasant stroke of serendipity occurred: Yifei was accepted into medical school in Peoria, Illinois. The decision for Max and Yifei to move to Illinois together was an easy one, and they excitedly began building a new life there.
