A match made on the Internet, a modern love story. After actually reading each other's profiles, swiping right, and exchanging messages we decided to meet up. Central Park was our first date, as Tess was still new to NYC and wanted to be shown around which Max was happy to do. Between all the iconic spots in and around the park, the food, the conservation, and the connection we were off to the races.
With vaccinations happening, and the birth of her first newphew Robbie it was time to back to San Francisco. Right in time for our Fourth Anniversary. Max had planned a dinner out for Tess, her family, and some friends. Knowing Tess didn't want the big event to happen in front of a large crowd Max looked for an opportunity to make it memorable. Tali, Matt, and their baby Ari joined, Max, Tess, and her mom Eileen for a post brunch walk around Fort Funston. While waking the hills of Fort Funston Max and Tali conspired. Max proposed to Tess with San Francisco and the Golden Gate overlooking in the background. When we stopped the walk to propose, Eileen put her focus on to baby Ari. After the proposal and a kiss Tess walked over to her mom. Eileen was still focused on baby Ari when Tess asked "Mom are you excited we got engaged?" Eileen replied "When?" After a quick laugh, a joyfull hug was exchanged. And we walked around taking photos at Fort Funston. There was a lovely dinner celebration that night, and many smaller celebrations with family and friends after. And now we are looking forward to celebrate our marriage with all of you!
