Our Story

Max and Rebecca met in 2019, where they got talking and quickly realised they shared the same sense of humour, the same values, and an impressive tolerance for each other’s nonsense. What started casually escalated very quickly into constant laughter, far too many inside jokes, and the quiet realisation that this might actually be it. Over time, Max and Rebecca became a proper team — both in everyday life and out on adventures. They’ve been on countless holidays together, hiked mountains and trails (sometimes enthusiastically, sometimes questioning all their life choices), camped under the stars, and repeatedly decided that jumping off cliffs into the sea was a perfectly reasonable idea. They’ve clambered along coastlines, kayaked their way through calm waters, explored caves, and learned that shared adrenaline is an excellent bonding experience. Through it all, they’ve discovered that they’re at their best when they’re side by side — slightly muddy, slightly tired, and laughing anyway. They also share life through cadets, where Rebecca is the Squadron's Commanding Officer, and Max is a Sergeant who reluctantly follows her orders... Somewhere along the way, “us” became home, and life without the other became unimaginable (and highly inconvenient). They've tackled life's challenges together, supported each other through the tough times, and mastered the art of communicating entirely through looks. They've perfected the balance between doing exciting things together and doing absolutely nothing together - both of which are equally important! The proposal itself was not a surprise — Rebecca knew it was coming, helped choose the ring, and still managed to act shocked at exactly the right moment. Max executed it perfectly, proving once and for all that teamwork really does make the dream work. Now they’re getting married, committing to a lifetime of love, laughter, shared adventures, mutual support, and ongoing debates about what to watch, where to eat, and who's turn it is to drive. They can’t wait to celebrate with their favourite people, eat too much cake, dance badly, and start the next chapter of their story — officially, forever. See you at the wedding...
