We met on Bumble in 2021, and on our very first date we won second place at bar trivia in Boston. From the start, that night captured a lot of what defines us: a shared love of adventure, a little friendly competition, and a great vibe. Conversation flowed easily, as if we already knew each other, and there was an immediate sense of comfort that made everything feel natural. Our relationship grew slowly and steadily over the next few months. We took our time, letting something meaningful develop at its own pace. When we were ready, we were all in — committed to each other and excited to build something lasting together. On January 24, 2025, Max proposed in the heart of the Boston Common with a heartfelt, personalized Connections puzzle — a nod to our daily New York Times word game tradition — and a truly perfect ring. It was thoughtful, surprising, and completely us. From trivia nights, international adventures, to daily word games, we’ve always loved being on the same team.
