Ok, so this place won't be on any "best of" lists, but this is where we had our very first date! Max said he knew he liked Niko when she (without hesitation) asked to try his ice cream cone and offered hers to him.
Mitchell's Ice Cream
But if you really want quality ice cream, head a few blocks away to Mitchell's, the only place in SF we don't mind waiting in line. Get the Lucuma ice cream!
Beit Rima
Our #1 go-to favorite lil restaurant spot, it never disappoints. We've had more comfort food-driven date nights here than we can count. Get the halloumi, labneh, shakshuka & zaa'tar bread and thank us later!
Old Mandarin Islamic Restaurant
This is our favorite hole in the wall with INCREDIBLE Halal Chinese food. Get the green beans with crispy tofu, the lamb dumplings and the crack fish soup. Tell Shuai that Niko sent you.
Saint Frank Coffee.
Our local coffee shop, on a busy street that's fun to visit any time of day. This place served us perfect cold brews through the pandemic, and if you can bear the uphill sprint to our apartment, we live just at the top of the hill! :)
Il cilentano
We're headed to Sicily on our honeymoon! Celebrate with us and eat the best cannoli in San Francisco (we promise) just a few blocks from our house, in North Beach.
Heist Restaurant
amazing brunch--Niko's Mom Approves! A little hard to find parking, but ask us about the hidden back lot. It's right next door to Lapisara - another brunch banger!
Taqueria El Buen Sabor
This is our go-to burrito spot. Always delivers. If you're hanging out in the Mission, you can't leave without one.
Archimedes Banya
Need some rest and rejuvenation before or after our wedding? Head here and sweat it out in the Russian sauna and Turkish steamroom. Cold Plunge your heart out. Eat the borscht. Clothing optional.

The best grocery store in San Francisco. Period.
Ferry Plaza Farmers Market
Great farmer's market (pricey! and touristy! but still one of the best in SF)
Mount Tamalpais State Park
This is one of our favorite areas to hike on weekends. Ask Niko for hike recommendations. It's just over the Golden Gate Bridge and full of incredible coastal vistas, redwood forests, canyons and more.
Tennessee Valley Beach
One of the best beaches to spend a warm morning or afternoon. Tons of hikes in the area. Parking lots fill up early.
