Megan and Max met through their beloved friends Fran and Greg. During the summer of 2015, Fran and Megan were roommates, living in the Bronx after finishing grad school at Manhattan College. Max was Greg’s friend from high school, who was moving back to New York after finishing grad school at University of Pittsburgh. One evening, Megan mentioned her interest in finding a nice, handsome, and tall date to bring to her brother’s wedding that upcoming September, and Fran immediately thought of Max. The two were quickly introduced and were an instant match! Fast forward through two years of happy hours, date nights, movie dates ranging from Minions to Marvel, various vacations, and memorable moments, Megan and Max moved in together in Long Island City. After building a home together filled with tons of love, Sunday dinners, endless laughter, cuddles, and a few more years worth of memories, Max knew he wanted to take the next step. On April 28, 2019, Max suggested that he and Megan get brunch together before Megan went back to work after spring break. With her heart set on getting the best bloody Mary’s ever, at The Bonnie Read in Asbury Park, Megan eagerly accepted. While taking a pre-brunch stroll on the boardwalk, Max got down on one knee and asked Megan to marry him.
