Haley and Layne met at Xavier their junior year through Taylor! Haley and Layne share many interests including gardening, reading (smut), lake days, and Taylor Swift. They can often be found at the pool or at the lake but usually Haley is in the full sun and Layne is hiding somewhere in the shade.

Matron of Honor

Taylor and Layne met at Xavier their sophomore year and worked together at their internship at the Flying Pig Marathon. They have run countless half marathons together from the Disney Half Marathon to the Urban Bourbon Half Marathon in Louisville. Fun fact, Taylor always enjoyed running while Layne did not and refused to train for any half marathon they ran.

Kennedy is basically the sister that Layne never had. When they were little, Kennedy used to be Layne's little dress up doll. She would practice hair techniques and makeup techniques on her and then dress Kennedy up in her clothes. While they have very different interests, they both enjoy shelling on the beach, reading, and working government jobs.

Amy and Layne are both nurses at met at the VA. The longer they worked together, the more they became inseparable. At work, any one person job immediately became a two person job just because they always want to hang out. It was Amy's idea for Layne to follow Max on Instagram, so in a way she's the whole reason this is happening!

Lauren Sharpe

Lauren is also a nurse and they met while working at the VA. Amy hosted a charcuterie board night and from there they were fast friends. Eventually, Layne precepted Lauren's final rotation at the VA and she moved back to Columbus afterwards. Lauren and Layne enjoy meeting up in Cincinnati and spending the day in OTR and spending money at our favorite boutique The Native One.

Nate Pham

Nate and Max met during their first year of anesthesia residency, and a strong friendship quickly formed. It was a devastating outcome for the program. Patients and doctors frequently confuse them for better or for worse. "You sound like me and my sister gossiping" - stated one patient.

Jonathan Rutter

Jonathan and Max are childhood friends from the swimming clique. The more refined and conservation-minded Rutter. He fathered Rutter Yogurt and Rutter Juice (probably). Oxford educated, he'll protect some bird from extinction.

Christopher Rutter

Groomsman

Christopher and Max are childhood friends from the swimming clique. He's the ugly duckling of the family, yet to turn into a swan. Bob Evan's is his creed and addiction. Just don't let him order at restaurants by himself.

Grant Carr

Groomsman

Grant and Max are childhood friends from the swimming clique. A dynamic duo from the start. They announced two swim meets in adulthood with great success and were never asked to return. At least they could always count on dinner at his parents.

Ben Hood

Groomsman

Ben and Max formally met during medical school and had faint memories of each other at the Ohio State University. Cheap tacos with exotic meat brought their friendship together, but now they can enjoy fine dining.
