Guatavita
Planning to go here on Thursday February 13th. Pueblo in Colombia with many different activities, beautiful lakes and hikes and restaurants. The sacred lake of Guatavita was the ceremonial site where the Indigenous people worshipped Chie, the goddess of water.
Salt Cathedral
Planning to go here on Friday February 14th. The Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá is an underground Roman Catholic church built within the tunnels of a salt mine 200 metres underground in a halite mountain near the city of Zipaquirá, in Cundinamarca, Colombia. It is a tourist destination and place of pilgrimage in the country.
Andrés Carne de Res
This is where we go for dinner Friday night before the wedding. It is one of Colombia's most popular restaurants. Has great food, and live music and shows at nighttime.
Monserrate
Dominating the city from above, you can discover the history of this sacred place that has been watching over Bogotá for thousands of years, while also enjoying restaurants, hiking, birdwatching, a cable car, and a train on the mountainside. If you are an adventurous traveler, you will want to hike to the top of Cerro de Monserrate.
