The welcome party event is open to all wedding guests! This party was designed to bring everyone together for a low-key yet fun night before the big day! Dress attire is dressy casual: jeans are okay, dirty shoes are not preferred.
This wedding is Garden Party attire. Ladies, you’re thinking sundresses, linen pantsuits or a floral jumpsuit. Gentlemen you are thinking button down or collared shirt and nice slacks. We highly recommend wearing sneakers or comfortable sandals and leaving your heels at home as the venue is on a farm. Don’t forget a light jacket to wear around the bonfire that night!
We will be moving the ceremony into the barn. Cocktail hour will also be hosted between the barn and our giant party tent. The reception and party will resume under our party tent which will have walls and heat. We will provide umbrellas, but feel free to bring one and/or a jacket with you! Don’t forget comfortable shoes to dance in the rain with!
We will have sunscreen and sunglasses available for all guests. We also have the giant party tent as well as the barn in case we have guests that must stay out of the sun. The barn is equipped with six large fans and remains quite cool.
