Max and Kim met in 2010 as campers at Camp Hye Sierra when Max was thirteen and Kim was eleven. What started off as a friendship turned into something more when Max asked Kim to be his girlfriend one evening at camp in 2012. While Kim really really liked Max, she said no (she was 13 and couldn't date). However, Kim told Max she liked him more than a friend. From there, they started to talk more and more. While they would only see each other a couple times a year at camp, the Feast, or Winter Family Weekend, they still stayed in touch. When college rolled around they went their separate ways for a time, but managed to find their way back to each other in 2018. They dated long distance for two years before Max decided to move to Ohio to be closer to Kim. Max popped the question six months later in the garden outside of a bookstore in Downtown Columbus. We have seen each other grow up from teens to young adults and our love has grown deeper for each other over the years. We feel incredibly blessed to have found each other and thank God for helping guide us in our relationship. We are so excited to enter into this next chapter of our lives together and can't wait to celebrate our wedding day with all our friends and family!
