Katie & Max Photo Album

The first photo we ever took together in January 2017! Taken so that Katie's grandparents could see what Max looked like.

The first day trip we took together was to Abingdon, VA in February 2017. Here we are standing in front of a fountain in Abingdon.

The first time Max got to see Katie as a Living Historian was at the 152nd anniversary of the battle at Appomattox Courthouse in April 2017. As you'll see later, it made quite an impression!

Our first vacation together was to Hampton Roads, VA in May 2017. Here we are at Busch Gardens, where Max met Katie's brother Jacob for the first time!

Also, during the Hampton Roads trip we managed to get to the beach!

We took a 2-week trip in August 2017, the 1st week to visit Katie's Dad and family in Florida and the 2nd to visit Max's family in New England. Here we are at Top Golf with Katie's dad and brother!

At John's Pass in Florida, we got to take a photo with Spongebob!

And also at John's Pass we got to take a stroll along the beach to watch the sunset! So gorgeous

While visiting Max's Family in New Hampshire, we toured the beautiful Castle in the Clouds.

We also got to take lots of boat rides on Lake Winnipesaukee!

For our first Halloween together we combined Katie's love of Civil War History and Max's love of zombies and dressed up as zombie Abe Lincoln and Mary Todd

On a weekend trip to D.C. in May of 2018 we got to see Katie's brother Jacob and meet Jacob's girlfriend Marissa while visiting the United States Botanic Garden!

In May of 2018, Max, Katie, and Katie's dad and brother took a Civil War roadtrip, including a stop at Appomattox Courthouse, where Max proposed!

Here we are at the Antietam Battlefield later during that same trip!

At the end of the Civil War road-trip we flew down to Florida with Katie's Dad to visit her family there. We couldn't resist sharing our engagement with the world by writing it in the sand!

In August 2018 Max finally joined the Living Historian hobby and made his debut at the Civil War Weekend put on by Grant's Cottage in upstate New York!

In October 2018, we got to pick out the pumpkins we wanted to carve that year during a trip to Sinkland Farms in Christiansburg, VA

Also in October 2018, we met up with Jacob and Marissa at the fall festival in Newport News!

No real reason for taking this one. We both just felt happy and wanted to capture the moment!

Here we are with Max's Mom, Dad, sister Amelia, and dog Lily celebrating our first Christmas together in 2018 at Max's parents cabin in NH. Or course, as is tradition, we all got matching pajamas!

On a trip to Newport News in March, 2019, we visit a 1920's style speakeasy with Katie's Dad, Jacob, and Marissa!

The last 4 photos are just a few of our engagements photos. They were taken by Max's Dad all around Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire! We look forward to having you all join us there in June!!
