Question

Can I bring kids?

Answer

No, The Lookout is 21+ and they really stick to that rule, coming from someone who had their fake ID taken there many years ago :(

Question

What's the deal with the costume party?

Answer

A costume is REQUIRED for the reception. Think we're kidding? Go to the 'Gallery' section to see some of the costumes Haley wears on a Tuesday. We are NOT messing around here people.

Question

What is the costume party theme?

Answer

The theme is: Dress as our initials. Our initials are M & H, so dress up as something or someone that begins with the letter M or H. Our hope is you have fun with your costume and get creative! And maybe pick a costume that allows you to run for office in the future (*cough* Joanna Peck *cough*) Some ideas include: - Hot dog - Miss Piggy (we are looking at you, Tommy) - Mt. Rainer (we love a Washington costume!) - Margot Robbie - Captain Hook - Hermione Granger you get the idea....

Question

What is the dinner situation at the reception?

Answer

The Lookout is a great dive bar (and the location of our first date) with ample outdoor space and views of the city. That said, it is a ~dive bar~ so expect the food matches that vibe. You can expect sliders, chicken wings, etc. There will be some vegetarian and vegan options.

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

Nope, you are the gift! We are just happy you are taking the time and resources to come party with us.

Question

Where should we stay when in Seattle?

Answer

The main event is in north Capitol Hill, a 15-20 minute walk from the Link light rail station. Staying in neighborhoods along the light rail ensures you'll easily be able to get around the city. We'd recommend Cap Hill, Downtown/SLU, or Pioneer Square.
