It started back in 2018 on Bumble then Tinder, followed by an 8-hr date in downtown Binghamton (mostly filled by Emma talking & Max listening). This led to a month or so of “friend dates” before they realized this could be something. Soon after their relationship became serious, they found themselves long-distance from Binghamton to Philly embarking on an every-other-weekend journey back and forth to one another for 3 years, making great friends along the way. Luckily, they sorted out their career paths (and Max’s cat allergy) leading them to live together in Jersey for 4 years with their fur-son, Theo. After many foodie adventures, trips exploring the great outdoors, and simple times enjoying each other’s company, Max popped the question at the Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens. Shortly after, they took the leap to move across the country for career opportunity & they’ve been continuing to build their life together in sunny California (recently welcoming a new kitty, Franklin, to the family!) Max & Emma are stoked to have you be a part of their big day.
