Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire (suits or knee to full-length dresses). The ceremony location is located outdoors and requires walking down a ~500 ft dirt path to get to the deck. Please plan footwear accordingly or bring a change of shoes.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Access to the Redwood Deck is limited. There is parking at the visitor's center at Hoyt Arboretum but this is ~1/2 mile from the ceremony location on a dirt public hiking path. We encourage everyone to meet at the Lowell House (4740 SW Lowell Ct.) at 3:30 pm and we have arranged transportation to the ceremony, from the ceremony to the reception, and back home at the end of the night. The reception has plenty of parking in the parking garage of the building or on the street. But, we encourage everyone to go via the provided transportation so that you can enjoy the drinks :)

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

We invite all of our guests to join us for brunch at 10 am at the house (4740 Lowell Ct.) the day after the wedding (June 19th).

Can I get you a gift?

Answer

No. Your attendance is all we need :)

What will the weather be like?

Answer

As it will be the middle of June, we are hoping that it will be sunny and warm. But, mother nature may have other plans. If it rains, we will provide umbrellas for the ceremony. Please bring an alternate pair of shoes in case the trail to the ceremony location is wet and muddy.
