Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium
Often rated as one of the best Zoos in the WORLD! If you have an extra day and you have never been to Omaha this should be at the top of your list.
Lauritzen Gardens/Kenefick Park
The park is at the top of the stairs, and has a couple of historic train engines with a nice view into Iowa. The garden has a great set of rotating displays, a cool "tori" on a huge hill, a model train city, an amazing rainforest and more.
The Durham Museum
A Museum with a ton of Omaha history, a historic streetcar, and just a lot of fun little exibits.
Kiewit Luminarium
A brand new science museum, opening spring of 2023
The Old Market
If you stay at the Magnolia, you are right next to the Old Market. Explore Hollywood Candy and the pinball arcade (Beercade 2 is nearby too in little Bohemia), food, Ted and Wally's Ice Cream, shopping, the local art Co Op, an easy way to spend a whole day.
Aksarben/Elmwood Park
A modern walkable district. Thai Rolled Ice Cream, a theater, good dining options, often live music or events, and Dim Sum can be found here.
