Flowers on Freeman
Fun fact, this cocktail bar is where my parents went to celebrate after getting engaged. Here is me at a later date longingly eyeing the charcuterie board. A charming neighborhood cocktail bar in Ohio City, Flowers on Freeman is known for its beautifully crafted drinks, inviting atmosphere, and intimate garden-inspired patio. Located in Cleveland's historic Ohio City neighborhood (and in the building we live in!), Great Lakes Brewing Company is one of the city's most beloved destinations. Cordelia
A great downtown dinner spot near the hotel and located on the East Fourth Street Promenade. This is a spot we always take friends and family when they are in town. Located in downtown Cleveland, Cordelia is a modern American restaurant known for its seasonal, chef-driven menu and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Proudly embracing “Midwest nice,” the team is known for genuine hospitality that makes every guest feel at home.
Amba
Another great dinner spot (and a frequent spot of ours) located in Ohio City - a quick drive across the bridge from downtown. Amba is a vibrant, modern Indian restaurant known for its bold flavors, creative small plates, and beautifully crafted cocktails.
Juneberry Table
Our absolute favorite breakfast spot - this is where we always go on our birthdays. It's quite small and there is often a wait but very worth it! There's a cute vintage store next door to explore while you're waiting. Located in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood, Juneberry Table is a bright, modern café and brunch spot known for its seasonal menu, thoughtful ingredients, and beautifully presented dishes. With a warm, airy atmosphere and a focus on fresh, locally inspired fare, it’s a welcoming place to gather over coffee, brunch, or a relaxed morning in the city.
Patron Saint
A very frequent breakfast spot of ours. Much of the wedding was planned on weekend mornings over coffee and shared brunch dishes here - you can't skip the yogurt parfait or croissant with pistachio butter! Located in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood, Patron Saint is a bright, modern café known for its elevated breakfast and lunch offerings. The menu features thoughtfully crafted dishes, quality coffee, and seasonal ingredients in a welcoming, design-forward space. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxed morning meal, midday bite, or casual brunch in the city.
