We both attended USF for college where Max played golf and I played soccer. We knew each other from the athletic department, but never talked until the end of Max's first semester of his freshman year. The conversation was for about 10 minutes and then that was the end of our interactions for a while. A couple years later, we crossed paths again through a mutual friend. Max and I started hanging out more frequently but only in group settings. We also were in a couple finance classes together so we began talking during class breaks and texting each other, but only about homework questions. Our mutual friend insisted that we were perfect for each other but we both were in denial. Our texting soon led to us deciding to hang out by ourselves. Our first date was to Stacks, which is a brunch place in the city. Then from there we started doing homework assignments together, going on lunch dates, and then hanging out many times a week. From our conversations we found out that we were the perfect match and pretty much the exact same person. Everything we wanted in life from future goals, family, dogs, and life views were the same. It took Max a while to actually ask me to be his girlfriend, but two weeks before I graduated and was set to move back to Seattle, Max finally asked me and we did long distance for a few months until in May when Max moved in with me for the summer. We quickly realized how much we loved living together and it was clear that we both knew each other was the one! After summer Max moved back to SF to finish school and we continued to do long distance until November when we officially moved in together for good. From November and on, we have had quite the year. We extended our little family by getting sweet Wilson who we love more than anything and baby him like a child. We also moved from the city to Mill Valley to a cute little house. We knew we wanted to get married for a long time but finally got engaged in July and can't wait to get married:)
