When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by June 10th 2025 so we can get a good number for the food :)

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the rehearsal dinner, the dress code is casual. For the wedding, garden/cocktail attire. It is Virginia in August, so velvet may not be the move, but you do you.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

In the RSVP, there is a section for any dietary restrictions. Please let us know :)

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. We have a trolley that will be picking up from the Home 2 Suites in ShortPump. There is lots of parking in the mall area if you are not staying in that hotel. If you plan on using the trolley please let us know in your RSVP so we can plan an adequate number of trips to and from. Current trips are: One trip to the wedding at: 3:30 PM Two trips from the wedding at: 10:00 PM 11:00 PM You can drive to the wedding and take the trolley home if you do not feel comfortable driving. Just make sure to get your car the next day by 11 AM. With all your new family/friends at the wedding, I am sure you can find some friends to get a ride to pick up the car :)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:15 PM. I would arrive starting at 3:45 PM and no later than 4:15 PM.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are at the same location and it has plenty of parking

Will there be alcohol at the reception

Answer

Yes. We will have a full bar (beer, wine, and spirits) for cocktail hour from 5-6 PM. After 6, beer and wine is on us, and if you would like spirits, you can purchase them. We will also have an espresso bar serving hot and iced coffee from 3:30 PM before the ceremony, to 7 PM.
