Maid of Honor
Leana and Alyssa have known each other since we were in Kindergarten at Holy Cross! After going to different high schools, they reconnected in the latter half of college and lived together our senior year. Leana is studying to get a PsyD/MCJ dual degree in Clinical Psych and Criminal Justice, with a certification in Biofeedback at Widener University. Fun Facts: loves pineapples, has a pet fish, and loves being outdoors, especially at the lake in Canada.
Bridesmaid
Abigail and Alyssa met in college when I reached out to Leana trying to find a roommate after plans fell through. She, Abby, and two other girls had a place and were looking for one more roommate. From there Abby and Alyssa lived together again after college in Philly and have stayed close. Abigail works with those scheduling orthopedic surgery and loves Disney, dancing, and Broadway. Plus, Jackson is her #1 fan!
Bridesman
Rich and Alyssa met on the first day of college at UD probably playing a really painful icebreaker that our RA Bella set up, but they became friends hanging out in the common room all year and bonding over music. Since college, they have stayed in touch, going to concerts, and meeting up every Halloween (to which he has come at least twice in Ron Swanson costumes), and going out in Fells Point. Rich has fallen into the cult that is adult soccer leagues, likes karaoke, and is a big fan of bacon.
Bridesman
The man, the myth, the legend, Kyle and Alyssa met freshman year same as Rich, and bonded over hating our calculus professor and his super thick accent that made class impossible. Kyle is truly a loyal friend and is always able to cheer you up or help support your side of anything, even when you are clearly in the wrong. Kyle works as a project manager in Massachusetts, and while he is all maxed out on friends, is accepting waitlist applications.
Bridesman
Tyler and Alyssa met when he was born, which he was super angry about for some reason. He had a grape shaped head, but it clearly was holding a giant brain, since he now works as a mechanical engineer in prototyping and testing. Being 4 years apart, they had our ups (Friday movie nights on an air mattress in my room like a sleepover, playing video games together, and playing made-up games) and our downs (pretty much the whole teenage part). Today, Alyssa is lucky to have him and for him to be in the wedding.
Officiant and Best Man
Some of Max's oldest memories are driving onto the beach with his family and parking next to James'(JW's) family. They grew up hanging out on the beach on the weekends, playing travel soccer, and later going to UD. JW now works for Comcast and the Army Reserves. He travels with his wife, Dominique, and spends time down at the beach whenever he can, and loves a good Dad joke.
Groomsman
Max and Ben met in middle school and became closer friends in high school. They would go together to watch high school games like football and basketball, and hang out on the weekends. Later, they lived together up in Newark and knew how to throw a good party. Ben is funny and known for making everyone laugh. He and his wife, Marissa, have one girl, Evelyn. Ben loves comedy, card games, and a good conspiracy theory.
Groomsman
Dylan Voss is a chicken wrangler at his family farm, Vossmon Farms, and is engaged to the beautiful Holly Anderson. He grew up right down the road from Max in Clayton. Max and Dylan later lived together during/after college and have been good friends for a long time. Max's oldest memories with Dylan are playing Yu-Gi-Oh in the farmhouse, having rubber band wars, and play baseball on Rotary in the little league.
Groomswoman
Growing up, Max and Ali lived at 1838 on their family's farm in Clayton playing outside with their dog Lily. One of Max's oldest memories of them together is hitting Ali with his newly bought toy pirate sword on vacation, and getting it taken away immediately. They used to butt heads often, but as adults they have grown much closer. Max looks forward to talking with her on the phone, getting recipe advice, and visiting her in Lewes. Ali left her job with Macy's, and is living her best life caring for plants, cultivating hobbies like bread making, and taking care of her amazing daughter, and Max's niece, Bella, with her husband, Steve.
Ring Bearer
Floofy, blond, sassy, and sweet. Jackson is the best ring bearer you'll ever see! He loves walks, and hates the rain, loves cuddles and also hates cuddles. The couch potato himself is excited to dress up and run down the aisle.
