FAQs

The Wedding Website of Max Mujica and Linda Xu
To get to the venue building from the parking lot, enter the park through the tunnel, then turn left after the tunnel at the fountain, then turn right at the next intersection, and lastly, you should see a path to the left to get to the building.
Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend staying in the West Loop area to be close to events and reception shuttles. Check out the Travel tab for our hotel blocks!

Question

How do I get to Promontory Point?

Answer

We will have a shuttle pick-up at each of the recommended hotels (Emily Hotel and Hampton Inn West Loop). Shuttles will depart at 4:30PM. After the reception, the shuttles will drop off at the after-party, and then the hotels. There is also a parking lot (https://maps.app.goo.gl/GHYyA3kug3dxTGeF6), a 5 minute walk from the venue. But we recommend taking a shuttle from the hotels or using rideshare to get to the venue. To get to the venue building from the parking lot, enter the park through the tunnel, then turn left after the tunnel at the fountain, then turn right at the next intersection, and lastly, you should see a path to the left to get to the building.

Question

What is "Garden Cocktail Attire"?

Answer

We’re going for a French-inspired garden vibe! Imagine a summer garden party in the South of France, but with a Chicago skyline. For women: Think flowy dresses, florals, soft pastels, elevated sundresses and light linens. For men: Suits in lighter hues (tan, grey, or blue) or a crisp blazer and chinos. Note: There is a scenic 5-minute walk to the ceremony, and our venue features many terrains: an indoor building, outdoor brick patios and grassy hills. So, for the ladies, we do recommend block heels, dressy flats, or wedges for comfortable walking!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but our wedding will be an adults-only event. If this makes it challenging for you to attend, please reach out to us!
