Hayley and Max met on May 14, 2021, at a Rutgers party — a night that would set the stage for a love story they never could have imagined. Max, with his easy charm and adventurous spirit, soon after asked Hayley on their first date, which was a lunch on campus followed by a walk through the campus park. It was the perfect start — a simple afternoon that allowed them to get to know each other better, and from the beginning, they knew they could have a lot of fun together. Their connection felt effortless, and they were always in sync, laughing through every new adventure. They spent countless hours together, building memories and growing closer. They traveled together, embarking on multiple national park road trips, exploring the beauty of nature, and making memories in breathtaking landscapes. In October 2023, Hayley and Max took the next big step in their journey by moving into their first apartment together in the charming town of Boonton. It didn’t take long for them to fall head over heels in love with this little town, and they began to make it their own. They often strolled together in a local park that had a path with a waterfall, enjoying quiet moments and dreaming about their future together. Also in this park was a beautiful gazebo— always glowing with light at night. For some reason, they never got around to visiting it, despite always saying they should. But on the evening of April 19th, Max surprised Hayley with a special date. They were planning to celebrate the end of Hayley’s grueling tax season overtime, but what Hayley thought would be a fun night out turned into something even more magical. Max brought Hayley to the gazebo, and in that moment, under the twinkling lights, he asked her to be his forever. It was everything Hayley had ever dreamed of — beautiful, intimate, and filled with love. Now, as they look toward the future, Hayley and Max are so grateful for everything that’s brought them here. They can’t wait to continue this adventure together, side by side, for the rest of their lives
