Maid of Honor
Answers to "Bits, Liz, and MOM!" Liz has been there every day of my life, literally! She is the greatest sister who helped shape my sense of style and personality. And today she remains as much a role model as ever- with two kids (Lyla 6, Crew 5), a job at StoreYourBoard corporate, and a thriving Poshmark side hustle. Liz is always there to give me guidance, listen to my frustrations, and provide a sensible and reasonable suggestion to life in general. My favorite memories with Liz include a trip to Orlando she and I took when she was pregnant with Crew, the sibling trip to Las Vegas where I learned to play roulette and fell in love with the Sin City, and her wedding!
Best Man
Gus, "Goose" Gagliardi. I met Gus one day walking home from school carrying my trombone after the bus had dropped me off. There was an instant friendship made. We started off playing some good old Mortal Kombat, and eating entire large pepperoni jalapeno pizzas until our thumbs were blistered. I have so many memories of Gus supporting me through difficult times, pushing me to be better, and helping me get out of situations I should have never been in in the first place. If you ever need a person to call at 8 AM, or the middle of the night, Gus is there for you. I can't wait to share my big day with him, and know that our families will always be close.
Bridesmaid
"KK" I loved KK the first moment I met her at my brother's law school ball. My brother told me so much about a "Kristen" I would be meeting but introduced me to another Kristen to start off the evening (one he was not dating). After feeling confused and a bit underwhelmed, KK approached me in her cute black strapless dress and said "you're Andrew's sister right? I'm Kristen." And I KNEW this was the one. We have been sisters ever since! She is a hardworking mother of 3 (Dean 5, Finley 3, Blake born June 2021) and has a fantastic low-key, easy-going-ness that balances the Mavraganis energy very well!
Groomsman
Connor, the artist fondly known as C-Nah. Connor and I met in the 4th grade. We started out drawing comics together, which we were fairly certain we should be able to sell to make a living. As we grew older, our friendship grew closer. From late nights in Edmond Oklahoma to vacation trips to the Rocky Mountains, Connor has always been there for me. With the same jovial personality, all in mentality I share, support, and a laugh that can make anyone having a bad day crack a smile. Honored and blessed to have him stand by my side on June 4th, and know that he and his family will always be a positive light in my life.
