We met each other in 5th grade at Leslie Lewis Elementary School in Chicago, IL. We were childhood friends, and shared a lot mutual friends as well. Maurtice, eventually moved away to Arizona and we lost touch for a while. However, I moved here too and one day he randomly inboxed me on Instagram, and we decided to meet up at Zipps Sports Bar on May 16, 2017 and the rest was history!

On my 30th Birthday 12/16/2023 Maurtice surprised me on the mountain top at sunset, with our closest friends and family overlooking the city. His sisters and mom blindfolded me and took me for a ride, upon arriving to the destination I heard Jagged Edge "Lets get married". I took my blindfold off and was met with Maurtice on one knee, I instantly burst into tears. And I knew this would be FOREVER! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
