We appreciate you so much! Thank you for beginning to research how to get to our special "destination" wedding location.
As the map shows, Playa Hermosa is located in the northwestern pacific area of Costa Rica. 
Given that many guests will be arriving from San Jose or the United States, we will provide a bus from San Jose on the morning of Friday, August 30th to Hotel Bosque Del Mar and back to San Jose on Sunday September 1st at 12:00pm. The bus ride is approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes long. If you think you will be interested in this service, please let the bride and groom know. 

If you plan on taking advantage of your time in Costa Rica and touring around, renting a car would be the best option. However, if you are on a budget, don't worry, public buses can take you from San Jose to Playa Hermosa in about 5-6 hours for less than $15--buses go from San Jose to Liberia to Playa Hermosa.
