Moe and Whitney first met a few years ago at the Heritage golf tournament through mutual friends. Fortunately, their paths crossed again after a USC football game last year and sparks flew. However, Whitney lived in Charleston and Moe was in Columbia. They both went back to their daily lives with 120 miles between them. About 4 months later, Moe reached out to Whitney and came to visit her in Charleston for the weekend. They both sensed the chemistry and attraction between them but knew a long distance relationship wouldn't be easy. Then COVID hit! Whitney's urgent care clinic was shut down and she began a new role working remotely. Within a few weeks, Moe and Whitney would be waiting out the quarantine and pandemic in Columbia together. Over the next 10 months, two people who had closed their hearts off slowly found themselves falling madly in love with each other. From cooking dinners, wine by the fire, pool days, playing golf, and traveling, Moe and Whitney realized they were truly "soulmates" and never wanted to be apart. They headed to Charleston to pack up her belongings and moved her back to Columbia permanently. The following week, while in Mexico for a friend's wedding, Moe got down on one knee and asked Whitney to be his wife. God's timing was perfect and something amazing came out of a year full of despair and uncertainties. Whitney and Moe are so blessed and excited to share their story with all of you and can't wait to start their life as husband and wife.
