We’re tying the knot!

Maureen’s Version of how we met: It was around Halloween of 2016 and I threw a party at my house in Tustin, CA. We had the same group of friends so of course….everyone was invited. We were all dressed in costumes playing beer pong and hanging out. There were a few chairs lined up to watch whoever was playing and I went over and sat next to Dewey. We started talking and hit it off. I know it’s cheesy, but for me, I want to say it was love at first sight. I instantly felt a spark with him and just knew he was special. All of our friends slept over because…well, as you can imagine, no one could drive home. So, in my room, everyone crashed. We had like 4-5 people in my queen bed all smushed together, people on the floor around the bed and I think a few slept downstairs on the couch too. I was on my side of the bed kind of hanging off and I noticed Dewey on the floor right next to me. He grabbed my hand and we fell asleep holding hands. He stayed and hung out with me the next day and the rest was history. We were together pretty much every single day from that day. I knew he was my person. Best decision I ever made was to throw that party and who knew I would be meeting the love of my life! Now we are getting married!!
