Transit: We recommend a rental car, or a resort with transportation options. Stay: We recommend Wailea, Kihei, Ma'alaea, and Sugar Beach for easy access to the ceremony! Lahaina was devastated by fires in 2023, but Ka'anapali and other communities North of Lahaina are all still options on the West side. Vrbo and Airbnb are both reliable options for vacation rentals and hotels. You can't go wrong with almost all of the hotels on Maui, and the reviews are generally reliable.
