Please RSVP by September 26th!
The dress code for our wedding is formal. For the guys, a dark suit and tie is perfect. Ladies can go with a floor-length dress, a formal cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit—whatever makes you feel your best!
The ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 PM. To ensure a smooth and relaxed start, we kindly ask that you arrive between 4:00 and 4:15 PM. This will allow ample time to find your seat and settle in before the celebration begins.
We ask that you join us in having an unplugged ceremony. This means no phones, cameras, or other devices during the ceremony itself. We have a professional photographer capturing every special moment, so you can sit back, relax, and fully enjoy the experience with us. However, feel free to take as many photos as you'd like before and after the ceremony. Thank you for helping us keep this moment intimate and distraction-free!
Please note that Estes Park does NOT have Uber or Lyft services available. For your convenience, we will be providing shuttles to transport guests to and from the wedding venue. Shuttles will run at designated times before and after the ceremony/reception. Stay tuned for detailed shuttle schedules, and thank you for planning ahead!
We highly recommend staying at Black Canyon Inn, the venue for both our wedding ceremony and reception. Booking your stay here offers the utmost convenience, keeping you close to all the festivities. However, lodging at Black Canyon Inn fills up quickly, so we encourage you to reserve your accommodations as soon as possible. Other great options in the area include Holiday Inn Estes Park or Best Western Silver Saddle Inn.
You might! Denver is known as the "Mile High City" with an elevation of 5,280 feet above sea level, while Estes Park sits even higher at around 7,500 feet. If you're traveling from a lower elevation, you may notice the difference. To help your body adjust, we recommend staying hydrated, avoiding excessive alcohol, and taking it easy with physical activities during your first day in the area.
To prepare for the higher elevation in Denver and Estes Park and avoid altitude sickness, follow these tips: 1. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water before and during your trip to combat dehydration caused by the altitude. 2. Limit Alcohol and Caffeine: These can dehydrate you further and exacerbate altitude sickness symptoms. 3. Pace Yourself: If you're not used to higher altitudes, take it easy, especially on your first day, and avoid overexertion. 4. Pack Smart: Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. Recognize Symptoms: Mild symptoms like headaches or fatigue are common but usually pass as your body adjusts. If you feel worse, rest and hydrate.
The ceremony and reception will take place indoors, with the option to open the doors for a refreshing breeze. Weather permitting, cocktail hour will be held outdoors, providing a perfect opportunity to take in the stunning surroundings.
The weather in Estes Park during October can be unpredictable. We recommend checking the forecast closer to your trip to ensure you pack the appropriate attire.
Our wedding is an intimate celebration with limited seating, so we kindly ask that you only bring guests who are specifically listed on your invitation.
