We were prepared for a lot, but a global pandemic was not on the list! After much thought, we are still moving forward with our wedding as planned and are very hopeful we will be able to celebrate with all of you on October 24th, 2020. During the event, we will be taking necessary precautions to safely celebrate and gather, but we understand completely if guests don't feel comfortable attending. If the situation changes closer to the date, you'll find an update here as well as a physical notice via mail. The wedding and reception will both be outside, so please dress accordingly.

It feels like we've always been tethered to each other, the rope just finally settled around us when we lived in South Carolina and Georgia. We met in high school in Pennsylvania. There are conflicting theories as to when, but we became close during a trip to Spain/Morocco our senior year. We aren't technically high school sweethearts, but it is where our story starts. In the summer of 2017, we moved to Memphis, Tennessee and started our own life together. The community we've joined and the friends we've made have made it home.

We visited my parent's house in New Hampshire for Labor Day Weekend. All my sisters were there with their families and my best friend from childhood as well. My friends from work kept saying "This is the weekend!", but I was a little skeptical. Usually I'm able to figure out when Luke is trying to surprise me, because I'm pretty nosy (I just want to know what's going on!) and he's terrible at keeping secrets. We were having a makeshift cocktail hour on the deck and Luke asked me to come over to the water's edge. He got down on one knee and I said "Yes!". Two hidden champagne bottles were pulled out and the corks were popped!

Come celebrate with us in Charleston! Having lived in the South for six years now, we decided to showcase why we love the area and especially the Lowcountry of South Carolina. We hope you make this weekend a little getaway with the added bonus of a big party with great people, music and food.
