Will this be an indoor or outdoor event?

Answer

This will be an outdoor event. We want to be mindful of our older relatives that will be attending. So if you feel sick, have been around someone who has been sick, or recently found out they were sick, we respectfully ask that you skip this one and we'll get together next time!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Garden party attire. Look good, feel good, but be mindful of footwear since we will be on grass (except for the dance floor.) The property is on the lake with a little beach landing so bring a suit and towel if you'd like. Get a tan if you want, dip your feet or swim at your own risk (there will be no lifeguard on duty).

What safety precautions will be considered at your event?

Our guests' comfort and safety is of utmost importance therefore we have implemented the following: There will be hand sanitizing stations placed throughout the property as well as personal hand sanitizers and masks available. This will be a cookout so people can trickle in and out as they feel comfortable.

Is this an adults-only event?

Answer

No, you're welcome to dress your kids up and have the perfect backdrop for some family photos! It is a lakefront property so keep safety precautions in mind. Or put a life vest on the kiddos.

What do the meal options mean?

We've switched to buffet-style. The site won't let me delete the meal options.

What about the parking situation?

Answer

Since it is a residence, we ask that you be mindful of our neighbors' driveways and grass. Other than that, you should be fine.

3pm - 11pm, why such a long time range?

Answer

We wanted everyone to come and go as they felt comfortable with no stress. Without a formal program, there is no need for a schedule where everyone has to sit down and eat at once. We can attend to all our guests and everyone can enjoy the food, scenery, and entertainment at their leisure.
