Dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Formal / cocktail wear requested. Note that the ceremony space is outdoors on a lawn, please plan your footwear accordingly. We want you to feel a dressy and excited --when in doubt, being a little overdressed is always better than under!

Is this a kid-friendly wedding?

Answer

We love all of the little ones in our lives, but this is an adult only ceremony and reception. If you are interested to have them come for the weekend we would be happy to help you search for a local baby sitter so that they can still enjoy the wild beauty of Lake Placid with you!

what time should I arrive for the ceremony

Please arrive by 3:30-3:45, the ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm

Can I bring a plus-one

Unless listed on your invitation, we cannot accommodate plus ones.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is parking on site. Our recommendation would be to meet at the hotel and take the shuttle.

How am I getting to and from the venue?

Answer

Great question- we will be providing a bus from a centralized location in downtown Lake Placid; all of our hotel blocks will be within walking distance of that location.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

At a Murphy wedding? Yes we will have an open bar until 10 pm. Please do not bring any outside alcohol or food to the venue, we will have more than enough to accommodate you!
