Both are fantastic in their own right.
Concord is an absolute dream for lovers of history or literature!* Visit the Old North Bridge, where the "shot heard round the world" was fired, or check out the homes of literary giants like Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Louisa May Alcott, and Nathaniel Hawthorne. *Maura and Matt took a group of students on a literary retreat here at Concord's Colonial Inn last year, and it was a huge hit!
