Maura and Kia met in Toronto in 2015 while studying at Ryerson University. The two met on the very first day of orientation and have been inseparable ever since. From working for the Toronto Blue Jays together, to moving to the US to complete their master's degrees, one doesn't go very far without the other. Truly the most iconic duo, made up of good eats, good music, killer dance moves and the funniest jokes. Kia has helped Maura navigate her life in some of the most pivotal and trivial moments, it was a no brainer that she would be her right hand gal pal to help her navigate a wedding too!
Mery Schrotter

Mery and Julian have been friends for 18 years. They met at school in Argentina via mutual friends. They've spent the last (almost) two decades eating good food, drinking beer and going on holidays. Mery, her husband Lucho and Julian were recently reunited when Mery & Lucho moved to Los Angeles from Buenos Aires. Julian is blessed to have the most supportive friend who has been with him through all of the ups and the downs. We can always count on Mery to brighten our day!
Nic Maheu

Nic is Maura's little (but much larger) brother. To Nic, Julian is the big brother he never had, but always wanted. The two love to crack a beer together and play a good game of cornhole. Julian is excited to have Nic stand with him on his big day, and is even more excited to have him as an addition to his family.
Marina Alonso

Marina is Julian's old sister whom he loves and appreciates to the moon! Marina spent a lot of time shaping Julian into the man he is today. She has always supported Julian and been there for him when he needed it. He loves hanging at her house with his nephews and brother-in-law, usually destroying some delicious treats that Marina has cooked up.

Maura and Cara met at Ryerson University in 2015 while studying Sport Media. The two quickly realized they might have been twins separated at birth! With their birthdays only one day apart, both from Southwestern Ontario, who shared an affinity for baseball, music, the color pink and Wendy's. They always lived within a 2 minute walk of each other (and once, in the same building!) Even with Maura moving to another country, it couldn't break their sisterly bond. Maura was fortunate enough to be a part of Cara's wedding in 2020, and enjoys her new role as honorary auntie to Cara & Brody's baby girl, Scarlett
Luciano Manolio

Luciano (Lucho) is the husband of Mery (Best Woman) and although Mery was friends with Julian first, Lucho and Julian have developed a bromance in the process- mostly over their shared love of pizza. Lucho was forced into tagging along on all of Julian and Mery's adventures, and adds a calming balance to their friendship. Lucho has been an amazing friend to Julian over the years and he knew he couldn't do his big day without him.
Kaylyn Ryan

Maura and Kaylyn met at Three Kings Tattoo in 2021. From the second Maura stepped foot in the shop, Kaylyn was warm, welcoming, supportive, generous and kind- all the qualities you'd look for in a best friend. Kaylyn never failed to bring light to a rather difficult time in Maura's life, to which she is forever grateful. Maura knows she can count on Kaylyn for just about anything- including being by her side on her big day! Kaylyn has been the best friend Maura could have ever asked for and always made sure she never had to go through anything alone. There's nothing these two love more than staying in and watching a movie with some Taco Bell and good snacks.

Chris and Julian met 13 years ago in Portugal in a tattoo shop. Julian was guest spotting at a shop in Lisbon and Chris was in town working on a film project. Chris wandered into the studio looking for a tattoo to represent his time in Portugal, and Julian was the one to give it to him. The two immediately hit it off and stayed in contact ever since. Chris came to Argentina to visit Julian, and now the two live in the same neighborhood- making it perfect to get together for barbeques and drinks!
Codi Gowanlock

Maura and Codi met in their first year of studies at Ryerson University and decided to move in together in their second year. They spent the next year making the best (and sometimes ratchet) memories. Truly an iconic duo that loved to adventure. From shopping trips across the border, to nights out at the club and sunsets at the park, Maura's favourite part of most of her days was getting to spend it with Codi. After completing their degrees in Toronto, both headed south to continue their journeys; Maura at USC in LA, and Codi as a dancer on a cruise ship out of Florida. They still keep in touch and love to visit each other when they can.
Grace MacDonald

Maura and Grace met while studying in LA. The two were matched up as roommates- and what a lucky blessing that was! Although it was less than a year living together before the pandemic hit, it was enough time for the two to form an inseparable bond. They loved singing in the car to Post Malone together, going on hikes, out to brunch and watching Kian and JC videos. Grace has played such an important role in who Maura is as a person, and she is forever grateful a random online roommate portal granted her a sister for life.
Ivan Derakhshani

Maura and Ivan met while studying together in Toronto. The two quickly became pals over a mutual love of Latin music, dancing, sports and good eats. They got particularly close when working together for the Toronto Blue Jays. Maura's fondest memories are walking home together after work on summer nights and grabbing ice cream. Seeing bad bunny together was a highlight too! Ivan is ALWAYS the life of the party and Maura couldn't imagine not having him there on her special day.
Estefania Alonso

For the first time visiting Los Angeles, Estefania, will be standing next to her father on this very special day. They love to do all kinds of arts since she was very little and play video games together, can't forget about UNO accompanied with a good chocolate milk and facturas to go along! They love digging holes at the beach during the summer days usually followed with some sun burns that need taking care of, and finding little sea creatures at night. And now new adventures to come.
