Festival Gates Open

9:00 am

Please be sure to wear comfortable shoes. There will be lots of walking. If you wish, you can dress in 16th century period piece to be in theme with the festival. Opening weekend is Oktoberfest theme.

The gates open at 9:00AM but that certainly doesn't mean that you have to be there that early. I understand this is quite a drive for everyone. Please be aware that the later you arrive the longer you will be sitting in traffic to get in. I have waited up to an hour in this line before to get in and there are not many rest stops along the way! I would like for everyone to arrive before 11:00AM so that you have plenty of time to explore the festival grounds, the shops, get some yummy food and catch a few shows. When you arrive, you will need to purchase tickets at Will Call and make sure to let them know that you are attending the Mau/Keefer wedding.
