Question

Why Charleston?

Answer

Ashley and Elijah absolutely LOVE the feel of Charleston. The trendy yet historic city plus the natural beauty of the seasonal flowers and Spanish Moss trees make the perfect place for an unforgettable wedding. Not only this, but the city holds a special place in the couple's hearts, as they got engaged there as well!

Question

We know the wedding is on a Friday. Do you two recommend staying through the weekend?

Answer

ABSOLUTELY!!! One of the reasons we loved the idea of a Friday night wedding was that it would allow our guests the whole weekend to still explore the lovely city! Check out our "Things To Do" tab for some recommendations for Saturday and Sunday!

Question

Where is the ceremony taking place?

Answer

We are thrilled to be holding our wedding ceremony at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens! The site is absolutely stunning, and it looks like it could be taken straight out of a movie!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception being held in the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both our ceremony and reception, as well as cocktail hour, will be held at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens.

Question

Where is the venue in comparison to the downtown area?

Answer

Our venue is located in the historic district of Charleston, which is across the river form the downtown area. While we recommend staying in the downtown area since it is only a 20-25 minute drive to the venue, you could also stay across the river in the historic district. Let us know if you have questions, and we could give you recommendations!

Question

Where can we find your registry?

Answer

Great news- our registry is DIRECTLY linked to this website! How handy, right? If you click the "Registry" tab at the top of the page, it will take you directly to our registry link!
