Well, of course he swiped right first, then I swiped right. We talked for a few weeks before we met up for the first time at our favorite dive bar in Old Town Scottsdale, Patty's. He invited me over for dinner the next night and cooked up steak, potatoes and portobello mushrooms. Shortly after we started dating, he went away to coach baseball in Reno, CA for 3 months. We had to decide if only dating for 2 months was worth the distance. We decided to go for it and the rest was history <3 The proposal I was nagging him for the longest time to get married and he always said "Not while your in school". So after the 100th time, I dropped the subject. Our relationship grew so much stronger in September of 2017. After a challenging 6 months, we planned a much needed trip to Cabo. Our first night there, Chris wanted to go walk on the beach. We were talking about life and what the future holds for us. I told him we should turn around and as I started to turn around to walk back to our hotel, Chris was down on one knee. I thought he was joking and said " Chris don't mess with me" trying to slap his hand. Little did I know, he was holding the ring. It took me a solid 5 minutes to say "Yes" after rolling around in the sand crying tears of joy. It was a story we both will never forget.
