Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding ceremony & reception is cocktail attire. Think dresses, jumpsuits, dressy separates, suits or blazers with dress pants. No need for tuxes or floor-length gowns, but please skip jeans and sneakers. Feel free to wear your festive, floral frocks to celebrate and don't forget to dust off your dancing shoes!

Question

What is the weather like this time of year in Kansas?

Answer

The weather in Kansas is sometimes unpredictable, but May is usually one of our prettiest months - you can expect nice temperatures, with highs usually ranging in the mid-70's to mid-80's and lows in the mid-60's to mid-70's. Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! We’d love to celebrate with your little ones at both the ceremony and reception. Just a heads-up—the church has lively acoustics, so if they get extra wiggly or chatty, we kindly ask that you step outside for a little break.

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free food options?

Answer

Yes! Our buffet dinner will have plenty of delicious options for guests with dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. If you have any specific allergies or concerns, just let us know in your RSVP—we want everyone to enjoy the meal!

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We don’t have a reserved room block, but we’ve put together a list of recommended accommodations on our website. Let us know if you need any help finding a place to stay!

Question

How far is the reception venue from the church?

Answer

Trinity Episcopal Church and Liberty Hall are just a short walk from each other—about a 10 minute stroll down Massachusetts Street. If you prefer to drive, street parking is available near both locations.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

For the ceremony at Trinity Episcopal Church: Street Parking: Metered parking is available along Vermont Street and surrounding areas. Public Parking Lot: A nearby 2-hour public parking lot is located at 10th and Vermont Street just across the street from the church. For the reception at Liberty Hall: Street Parking: Metered spots line Massachusetts Street and are free after 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday, and all day on Sundays. Public Parking Lots: The nearest parking lots are about a block away respectively, at the Riverfront plaza, one block northeast, and at 7th and New Hampshire, one block southeast.
