Stacy has been a friend of Mary’s for a while now. Stacy has been an amazing role model for Mary and an amazing friend. They go to the same college ministry Bible study group. Mary loves going out with Stacy whether to get food or go to bonfires! They have even shared some adventures to the beach and mountains to go skiiing!
Olivia Griffin

Mary and Olivia (Liv) have been friends for several years! They met in Gavel Club and and participated in theater together. Liv is one of Mary’s longest and closest friends. Liv and Mary have enjoyed some fun adventures together such as Disney, beach, and keeping each other sane during 2020! The adventures and memories shared are priceless!

Mary is the oldest sister of the groom. Mary & Mary have a lot in common, including their same first and last name. They bond over their love for music and guitar. They spend hours doing nails together and getting açaí bowls!
Regina Chaney

Regina is the second youngest sibling in the Chaney family. Regina loves horses and getting manicures and her nails done by Mary! They bond over their love for books and girl talk!
Joy Chaney
Jr. Bridesmaid
Joy is the youngest of the Chaney siblings, but by far the favorite. She also loves everything to do with horses. Whether she is competing, riding for fun, or collecting horse models, she is always having a good time. Mary enjoys playing board games, solving puzzles, and doing nails with Joy!
Will Black
Best Man
William D. Black is the best friend of the groom, he’s known Peter for more than 10 years and has been a constant companion in his life’s challenges. Will met Peter at their local library at a homeschool group, ever since then they’ve shared concerts, first experiences, lunches and lowest points. Will is currently attending UNCC and is considering going into business.
Michael Chaney

Michael A. Chaney is the second oldest brother of the Chaney family, he’s known Peter since before he was born, they’ve shared some of the core memories of Peter’s lifetime. From ice-cream and sunsets to imaginary games in the back yard Michael has been the moral compass and inspiration to Peter for his whole life. Michael is married with one daughter and works in Raleigh NC
Joseph Chaney
Groomsman
Joseph P. Chaney is the oldest of the Chaney children. He’s been a voice of reason and a strong leader for Peter in his lifetime. Joseph played College football for Ave María university, graduated and Married. He then worked towards his masters degree and currently works in Nashville Tennessee with one son.
William Chaney
Groomsman
William A. Chaney is two years older than Peter, William has always been the one to teach Peter the hard lessons in life. Being the closest in age they went to school together for two years and experienced some of the most confusing and problematic times together. William is currently attending College and works for Mecklenburg county.
James Holland
Groomsman
James D. Holland has been Peter’s friend since before James was born. Peter and James have had countless hangouts whether it was playing video games, going to the beach, or having a fire. They were massive parts of each other’s childhood and continue to be good friends today. James at the time of the wedding will have graduated from Christ the King high school and will be exploring his opportunities in electrician schooling or internships.

Timothy C. Delancy has been a good friend of Peters for 6 years. They met in 8th Grade in a NC online school. They played games and had a discord server where they spent a lot of time. Recently Tim and Peter have been sharing their interest and love In cars and gaming alike. Timothy currently has 168K subscribers on YouTube and attends college at UNCG
Jon & Priscilla Mattson
Parents of the Bride
Jon works for Safeguard as the Director of Engineering. He loves fishing, going to concerts, traveling and will never turn down a stop for ice cream. Priscilla works for Delectables by Holly as a Wedding and Events coordinator and also has a contract working with Disney in their competitor travel research department. She loves to cook, bake and work on craft projects. Thanks to the contract with Disney, they are able to travel frequently. Going on cruises has become one of their favorite activities.
John & Susan Chaney
Parents of the Groom
John & Susan Chaney are the parents of Peter. They’ve devoted countless hours to raising the crazy family of 7 children that is the Chaney Family. John likes to work with his hands, Carpentry is his skill of choice and likes being productive, he served 4 years in the Unites States Navy as an Intelligence Officer and now works for Cardinal Logistics as the Director of MIS. Susan loves to knit and garden, majority of the back yard is filled with flowers, vegetables, and occasional fruit. She can make a great lasagna and spends most her mornings at the barn with the girls.

Mary has known Pastor Evan since she entered middle school. Evan is the youth Pastor at Providence Baptist and has also played a large role in Mary's love of playing guitar. Not only is he passionate about serving the Lord, but God has also given him a great gift of speaking and developing wonderful relationships with people of all ages.

Mary has known Amanda for many years. Amanda has led small groups for youth and girls in our church. She is a talented artist, wife to Evan, and mom to her little boy Noah.

Co-Minister
Fr. Eckert is the pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Salisbury. He’s known Peter for a long time as Peter would always altar serve on Sundays. He helped Mary and Peter prep for this special day and will be present to help officiate the special bond.
