We met in Gainesville at a variety of goat house parties, tailgates, and frisbee events. We can't seem to agree how we met for the very first time, but we ran in the same circles and quickly became friends once we started talking.

After Matt made about 100 trips to Gainesville to "see his friends", we started a long distance relationship while I (Sam) was still living in Gainesville.

No more distance - yay! We moved in together with Maui & Jack (our kitties) and got to really start building our life!

After a few years of renting, we bought our first home together!

We had quite the travel year in 2023 and it was topped off with an engagement... on an ALASKAN CRUISE! It doesn't get much better than that.
