Coming in at 5'10" (like Kyler Murray is 5'10") and roughly 165 lbs is Hayden Lee Moore from Rockwall, TX. Hayden and I have been friends since our time at OU where we were involved in the same college ministry that eventually lead us both to Japan. I am quite convinced that everyone needs a Haymoo in their life to listen and give honest advice. Like the time (before Kim and I were dating) when he took my phone and deleted Kim's ring size, which I had overheard her telling a friend whose ring she had tried on (but it didn't matter I remembered 5.25 over a year later when it really mattered). Ladies, Hayden would like you to know that he is #cultured. He has tattoos in 3 languages, and although he only speaks 2 languages he has studied 4, and currently lives in Tokyo! +818049381950.

Crap I now realize Hallie ALSO looks like a 5'11" olympic volleyball goddess. I could take up this whole little paragraph telling you about all the seasons of life Hallie & I have experienced together over the past five years of being literally attached at the hip. We're best friends, co-workers, roommates..you get the picture. Not to mention everywhere we go people ask if we are sisters/twins. I genuinely think God looked at our lives & was like "lol, these two need each other. I shall make them besties/sisters". In a crowded room if I heard a cough I would know if it was Hallie's. THAT IS HOW CLOSE WE ARE. Not to mention we freaking laugh HARD together non-stop. The friendship that I have with Hal is life long, rare, incredible, deep, irreplaceable, & endlessly encouraging.
Zac Johnson

Zac Scottie J works at Texas Tech where he has truly taken on the personification of a “red” raider to a whole new level. I’m not sure that I have ever met someone like Zeej. I mean who else do you know that frequently has ladies come up to them asking to touch their ginger hair? Zac has a ton to do with who I am today as we would challenge and push each other to grow in our relationship with Christ. If I try hard enough I can still smell the coffee & bagels that we would get a few times per week in college. I’ve also never been challenged quite like the time I was strait lining on skis and Zac came zooming past me at nearly 70mph! I am honored to call all of these men my best friends and Zac is certainly no exception! Ladies, you can look but you can't touch, this catch has been caught!

I met Emma my very first day of college at TCU and soon after joined her sorority. About two years later I spent the summer with Emma at Kaleo where she was my small group leader. I had no idea at the time, but it was the start of one of the most special friendships I've ever known. Fun fact: Before Emma led me at Kaleo she was unsure if we'd be actually be friends & was worried I wouldn't really like her, so she begged God that I would like her and that we'd get along. HAHA well it worked because now she's my MOH and I literally cannot imagine my life without her in it. The impact Emma has had on my life is seriously crazy, she is the big sis I never had & I love her with all of my heart.

Attention! This is The Thomas “Gucci” Mayne and if you can’t tell from the picture he will be the one tearing up the dance floor on May 3rd! Ladies, if you need a dance partner then look no further. Fellas, if you need a teacher then look no further. Trust me, if he can teach me to Milly rock, whip, nae nae, and floss then he can help you too! Like several of these guys, T-Mayne was my roommate, and I would accredit a lot of my consistency in my walk with God to living with someone so disciplined like Thomas. He is truly fun-loving, adored by all, and is a great image of what biblical manhood should be. Hold on to your hearts ladies!

Brit, oh my gosh it is truly comical for me to even picture what my life would look like if I never met her. Actually wait, it’s not comical…its just scary haha. I’ve gotten to watch Brit go from single to engaged to married to a momma & I’ve cherished every season with her! Brittany has literally shaped my life. She is the main reason I know anything about adulting, but more than that BRIT TAUGHT ME HOW TO BE A GODLY WOMAN. She taught me so much about sacrificially loving others, living on mission & pursuing Christ when it is not convenient. She is such a safe place for me & I trust her opinion DEEPLY. Brit & her husband Kyle helped me & Matt process through the decision to move forward in our relationship & get engaged! Their healthy God-glorifying marriage has blessed me & Matt deeply.

Schlute is honestly one of a kind. He is the first person I really met in my pledge class and I have never met someone who naturally carries so much favor with people. He is loved by everyone and seemingly gets away with things that others simply cannot. For example if Schluterman happens to give you a nickname then done! I hope you like it because that is now your name to everyone. Schlute is smart, contagiously fun, wise and as stubborn as an ox. Love you to death you oversized German!

THE adrienne “kitty” bloomer. Where have you been all my life? Adrienne and I almost instantly became best friends when we moved into the same house August 2017 (Adrienne, Hallie & I live together now!) This girl is hysterical, severant-hearted, endlessly fun and creatively brilliant. My favorite thing about Ades is that we can go from discussing the best highlighter/contouring powder combo to deep spiritual conversations at the drop of a hat. The RANGE that our friendship has is almost comical & now I literally cannot imagine my life without her friendship!

Mitchell-San is actually the OG Japanese friend. He's only a quarter but COUNT IT! There is really no one who can make me laugh quite like Mitch! We have shared many experiences together camping and hiking including the time we almost died on top of Crestone Needle and narrowly escaped an incoming storm, which would’ve trapped us on a couple thousand feet of steep granite! Luckily after many prayers (and a few tears) we made it back to camp. You know the friend that you can see after a while and reconnect like you never missed a beat? Well that’s us and like all of these guys I wouldn’t trade our friendship for the world.

Have you even met someone that when you talk to them you just atomically feel SO ZEN???? That is hanna! she is the most chill, easy-going, sweet spirited human you’ll ever meet. Hanna and I lived in the same dorm our freshman year at TCU but our friendship exponentially took off when we spent the summer together at Kaleo 2014 as we both learned how to pursue a relationship with Christ! Hanna’s strengths are my weakness and I learn so much from her! Also I can literally always count on her to crack up at my jokes….thanks hanna girl ;)

A-A-Ron, here we go! He's pretty much your average J.D. Rockefeller living that west Texas dream as he would put it! Aaron is hard working, passionate, dependable, doesn’t take himself too seriously, and you may very well see his picture come up in Webster’s dictionary next to “friend”. Whether you just need someone to talk to or you’re trying to get 56 freshmen to Aspen so they can watch their pledge brother in the X-Games, Aaron is the man for the job. But don’t worry this won’t be all toast and no roast. Aaron grew up in a town with more cows that people and at times it shows. He was the first person to tell me that he drove to the metropolis of Ada, America to have Chilis and go to the movies. If you’re needing someone to be the butt of your joke he’s likely the man for that job too.

Emily is my divalicious sista with the voice of an angel. We met when she was a freshman & I was a senior at TCU, we grabbed lunch at Fuzzy's Tacos & I got to share with her how my life had been drastically changed by Jesus & she decided she wanted the same for her life....& the rest is history! Emily was in my small group at Kaleo summer 2016 and she has been a very constant figure in my life over the last three plus years; I'd have it NO other way. Getting to watch Em fall radically head over heels in love with Jesus has genuinely been one of the highlights of my life. She loves others in such a raw & sincere way, she's eager to be used by God & good heavens she's just SO SO funny. I'm giggling as I type this.

John and I have basically been friends since birth! We grew up together, we're family friends, and played sports together. We even ended up both going to OU, rushing Beta, and even got involved with the same college ministry. Stout has been like a brother, an encourager, and a Barnabas to me. I remember yelling "You're my boy, Blue" at Stout during HS basketball games, and then just a few years later yelling entirely different things at him his freshman year. ;) Kidding kidding Stout is one of my longest friends and I hope that never changes!

Do you know those friends where for literally no reason at all you just giggle/laugh a lot? Meet Kelsey. Kels & I met at our first summer at Kaleo in 2014. She had just finished her sophomore year at UT, I felt like we connected effortlessly on so many levels and just understood each other. It was one of those “where have you been all my life?” type of friendships. Kels is hilarious, adventurous, deep, and soooo smart..home girl is about to graduate from PA school in Savanna, GA! My life has seriously been insanely blessed just by knowing her. Even though our friendship has majority been long distance I still feel so close to her in heart. Fun fact: Kelsey was the first person I told that I loved Matt.....and it was quiiiiite some time before our relationship became serious. Scandalous.

Josh or just Bowron or BDB or J Beibs is a funny, light hearted and caring guy! The first things I learned about Josh were that he looks like Beiber, he was a stand leader in hs (?¿), and he loves all things Houston! If you’re just now meeting him he looks less like Beiber, still loves Houston and really loves KG, his wife! I loved seeing them start out their relationship and watching it grow! I also loved living with Josh and Schlute junior year and force feeding Josh so that he would also grow to 6’3”. It didn’t work but we tried, KG.

My little MoMo, it baffles me how someone so itty bitty can be filled with so much soul & fire! LOOK OUT. I’m now convinced I fell in love with Matt on a ski trip we went on in Jan. 2016…but my future husband wasn’t the only relationship that sprouted…I also met Morgan ;) It was almost bizarre how easily we connected & how much we had in common. Morgarita is simultaneously one of the strangest/goofiest yet coolest people I know, how she pulls off both? I'm still taking notes.

Spillar! Wow! You ever think someone was put in your life for a hard season? Well that’s who Spillar is to me. During all the transitions I had in South Asia Spillar was my calm in the chaos. For all the deep convos and wisdom I feel like I had a great roommate and also a personal counselor. Spillar is funny I asked him if there’s anything he wanted me to put in here and he said, “oh yeah tell them I’m a good kisser, and that I’m really really single” haha!

You know those movies where two kids grow up as next door neighbors and get into a lot of trouble together as they simultaneously figure out who they are? That is our story! When I think back on my middle school/high school years there is one person that comes to mind: Aly Faucett. Years and years of hilarious memories filled with angsty soul searching self discovery…..she is truly as loyal as they come. I think it is notable to mention that we frequently would “run away from home” to each other houses..100 yards away. Ahhhh to be 16 again. The special place Aly holds in my heart is irreplaceable.

Hayden and I were roommates sophomore year. One of my favorite/most random memories with him is staying up until 3 or 4 studying for an Econ test, splitting 40 pizza rolls and then sleeping on the couches so we wouldn’t get too comfortable and sleep through the test. Hayden studies much differently now and is currently killing it at OU med school. If you see him ask for the engagement story! He and Juanita definitely take the cake here.

Steph is Matt’s older sister & truly encompasses the ultimate girl boss. Steph is a Pure Barre queen, she loves OU football, the occasional glass of wine, & her dog (who literally weighs as much as she does)! She recently took a job with the FBI as a forensic accountant in Chicago so if you give Matt & me a generous wedding gift... we can have her look the other way on your money trails ;) Kidding kidding..but in all seriousness I cant wait to join the Eppler fam & gain Stephanie as a sister in law!

Austin Harvanek is a good ol boy from McAlester, OK and we all love him for it! Fun fact: we once went tubing behind our cars on the South Canadian river. Another fun fact: I had to pull Austin’s truck out at one point, and I will never let him forget it! If you’ve ever heard my one liners there’s a half descent chance that I heard Harvanek say it first! I know if I was ever in a fight there’s a 100% chance that he’d have my back. And there’s about a 90% chance that he started that fight haha! Love you bubba!

Christa is simply put a hoot & a half. She is one of those friends who effortlessly without fail makes you feel like a million bucks every time you see her. She squeals & is so excited to see you & it freaking puts a massive smile on my face! I met Christa my junior year, her freshman year right before she was in my small group during the summer of Kaleo 2015. That summer I got to witness Christa begin a relationship with Jesus & have gotten to lead her spiritually since. Ugh, she is my hero! She is the girliest, most patient, faithful, strongest starbucks loving friend I have! Hehe.

Chase is more like a brother from the Ada, America days. I’m pretty sure there were weeks out of the summers where he would live in the basement at our house! We perfected maximizing our vacation time by taking each other on family trips! Chase is inclusive, easy to get along with and a little goofy at times. During our last year of college Brooke & I ran in similar circles but never realllllly knew each other…until this past year when it all changed! Brooke took a job with StuMo & moved into my house with my two other roomies Hallie & Adrienne. I felt like my eyes were freaking opened. Brooke is seriously THE best. She is super bright, caring, heart of gold, hard-worker, loyal, down for anything & has the best sense of humor. Okay did I just describe a golden retriever????? It’s so odd for me to imagine my life now without “Broc/Brook” in it because her friendship has meant so much to me.

Eva is my little firecracker & I'll be forever grateful to God when He put her in my small group that I led Kaleo summer 2015. I've literally watched Eva's life CHANGE & now God is using her in the most radical hardcore ways. She currently works with The Worthy Co., a nonprofit social enterprise that employs women survivors of trafficking, prostitution, & addiction by training them to handcraft lifestyle goods. I mean COME ON...What?! I got to stand by Eva's side as she got married last May & now she will get to be a part of my most special day! How did I get so lucky?!

Dave or “D Welk” the man who has fielded all my questions in my dating relationship with Kimberly. Dave also taught me to “just lift and read bro” once and it’s stuck around longer than he intended! But that’s certainly true of his life. I’ve never met anyone who has such a deep knowledge of the word like Dave. It’s been a lot of fun to be led by him in Japan this past year and a half. He unfortunately can’t come to the wedding but I can’t wait to spend the next few years around him and look up to Dave so much!

Chris and I go back and really got to know one another at our second kaleo project where we were roommates! Chris is fun, talented and sharp! He’s a good source of competition for me. Even in language school he still challenges me because he is an absolute wizard with Japanese. Chris and his wife, Beth Anne, are both on my team in Japan. It’s been encouraging to watch them tackle all of the challenges Kim and I will soon face and it’s a lot of fun since the four of us are all good friends!

My sweet Bethie! I met Beth Ann around the same time I met Morgan & Lauren at OU! My first impression of Beth was that she was just so solid & confident. She was def someone I wanted to be around. Beth has just shown me so much generosity in our friendship. She invited me to spend Thanksgiving with her & her massive family in 2016 & it was truly the BEST, I will never forget how loved I felt. We also have Beth got married to Chris in Dec. 2017 & I got to be a part of her special day, I feel so lucky that (in spirit) she will be a part of mine! My favorite part is that Beth lives in Tokyo, she is on the same team with Matt currently! It will be so comforting that when I move to Japan I'll already have one of my best friends to help me transition! What a dream!!!

Kev currently leads the Tokyo team & he is actually the one who originally recruited Kimberly and I to go overseas---now four years later we’ll all finally be on the same team together! He’s smart, hard working, proactive, caring and super fun to work for! He has watched our whole love saga unfold & has been with us every step of the way. I’m not sure I’d say he’s a good dancer but he’s definitely a dancer so we’ll see how good he is on May 3rd! We love Kev so much, he honestly is amazing. Kim & I can’t imagine anyone else officiating our wedding!
