Can you tell us about your wedding ceremony?

Answer

On Thursday June 11, 2026, we will be exchanging vows in a private ceremony with immediate family only at Humarock Beach, MA. We appreciate your understanding of our wish to keep our ceremony small, and can’t wait to celebrate with you at our reception on Saturday June 13, 2026.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

While the party kicks off at 5 PM with a cocktail hour and appetizers, please feel free to arrive anytime before 6 PM when dinner will start to be served.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is fairly casual, please do not feel the need to dress up in formal wear! For women - Sundresses, maxi dresses, skirts, and jumpsuits/rompers. For shoes, sandals, wedges, heels or flats are fine. For men - Long pants, collared shirt (can be short sleeve like a button up or a polo). Casual shoes like sneakers are fine. No jeans or shorts please.

Will you be doing any of the traditional formalities of a wedding reception?

Answer

While this is meant to be a more casual party, we do have plans for some formalities around dinner time. We have a DJ for dancing later in the evening also!

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available in the lot of the restaurant, and there is also plenty of parking on the Brant Rock Esplanade on the street right in front of the restaurant. For overflow if all else fails, there is a parking lot down the street on the corner of Dyke Road and Town Pier Road.

Is the Venus handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes, for those that need a handicap entrance, there is a ramp out front that will bring you into the main entrance of the Venus Restaurant. When you enter, on your right there is a lift that will bring you up to the top floor where the function room is located.

Do I need to choose a meal?

Answer

No, we are offering a buffet style dinner with a variety of foods that we hope all will enjoy.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to try and accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

With the exception of our niece and 3 nephews, we respectfully request no children at the reception.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer
