In the winter of 2007, I met Matthew at a camp at Holley Family Village. We ran into each other again several times at events and at school, but we didn't talk much. After four years of this, we were at a drama camp together, and the director unexpectedly decided to make us partners on the stage. We were surprised but we quickly realized how well we work together as a team, and we became good friends. However, our friendship faded as we moved forward to pursue different paths. I went away to New York for college, and Matt moved to Texas to pursue a career in culinary arts. We met out of the blue through a mutual friend in Michigan, and we got back in touch. We resumed our friendship, and a few months later started dating. Long story short... we fell in love! In August 2019, Matthew popped the question at one of our favorite restaurants. I said YES! and we can't wait to continue this adventure we're on, making memories that we'll never forget.
