The ceremony and reception will take place on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 at Ivy Black Weddings & Events in Saginaw, Minnesota. Additional details can be found on the "Travel" tab.
Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding celebration! We will have activities to keep them busy. BUT, we also know parents enjoy and deserve a night to let loose too, so the choice is yours! If you do decide to find them a sitter, please be sure to mark them as “no” when you RSVP.
There ceremony will begin at 3:30 in the afternoon. Complementary shuttle will pick guests up from La Quinta Inn & Suites at 3:00pm and have you arriving at the venue around 3:15-3:20pm. Please arrive no later than 3:20pm to avoid interrupting the ceremony.
On-site parking is available at Ivy Black, including a limited number of handicap spots. Please carpool and/or plan for a designated driver. Vehicles should not be left overnight at Ivy Black. We recommend using the complementary shuttle, which will pick up & drop off at La Quinta Inn & Suites. You may park and ride the shuttle from the hotel even if you are not staying there. Please note Lyft/Uber DO NOT go out to Ivy Black. Please plan accordingly for rides/designated drivers.
Please stay wherever is most comfortable for you. We have a block of rooms under "Myers-Lord wedding" but you can certainly stay somewhere else. Please note the shuttle will only pick up and drop off at La Quinta Inn & Suites. You may park at La Quinta and ride the shuttle even if you are not staying there.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.
Please kindly RSVP no later than November 15th using the code on your formal invitation, or by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above. If you do not RSVP by the deadline, we will assume that you are unable to attend.
We encourage our guests to dress semi formal yet comfortable for the Minnesota winter weather. All events during the day will be held indoors. Please no jeans.
All events, including ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception will be held indoors. There is a patio space if you would like to step out for some fresh air at any time.
We will be supplying both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other beverages onto the premises.
