Our Story
We first met when Syd switched from working at The Columns to working at The Parker House. She had shifts at TV Bar while Matt bar-backed for the main bar upstairs. Working every weekend together for two summers (sometimes 40hrs in weekend on those crazy holiday shifts) we became fast friends, realizing we had a lot in common, similar senses of humor, morals, & family values. It wasn’t until the end of summer #2 when working our last shifts for that season that Gabby (Matt’s sister) was talking with Syd about what she wanted in a partner & made the suggestion “ya know if you date my brother & it works out…. You’d get me as your sister in law”. Not soon after we began hanging out & just never stopped. Now we have our amazing pittie Parker (named after The Parker House), our home (which we can’t wait to celebrate with you all at), we love going to concerts, volunteering with Pitties & Pals Rescue, & spending time with our friends & family.
