Matthew and I met in college. We were both working at the Boyd School of Law as student workers, and he was one of the first people I had met when I moved to Las Vegas. Matthew had a cubicle on the other side of the offices, but he always had an excuse to come over to the front desk where I was working. We went on a few dates our first semester of college, but shortly after the spring semester had begun, I decided that he was just a really good friend. We remained friends throughout college. Matthew was always my knight in shining armor whenever I needed help moving, whenever I had any car troubles, and whenever I had gone though a breakup. He was such a good friend to me (even when I wasn't to him), and I was too blind to notice how much he really cared. In January of 2013, Matthew asked me out to dinner. I hadn't seen him in a long time as he was busy with the first year of his masters program, so I said yes, although I made a point that it was just as friends. We really enjoyed ourselves, and by February we were making plans together for Valentines Day. By March we were "official" and have been madly in love ever since.
